It's later than I thought, half past 12.

  • Does he love me?
  • Should I change?
  • Why do I do this to myself?

It's later than I thought, half past 2.

  • Eyes heavy
  • Mind full
  • Body sore

It's earlier than I thought, half past 5.

  • Alarm loud
  • Light streaming in
  • Quiet footsteps

It's earlier than I thought, half past 7.

  • On the bus
  • Almost too late
  • Eyes bleary

It's earlier than I thought, half past 9.

  • Struggle with math
  • Hot tea in hand
  • Music loud

It's over already,

tomorrow will be the same,

I can never keep up with the days,

that all seem the same.
