The Forest Has Been Here
The Forest has always been here.
It was here as the native people of this land came,
foraging, hunting, taking only what they needed.
Here when the Europeans came,
bringing hate, devastation, destruction. -
Fear
Fear.
It is part of life,
shows us life,
the true parts of life in this world.
Without fear,
who would we be?

A shattering end.

Counting to 17
When I turned 17, it was synonymous with the beginning of the end.
It felt like landing in the jaws of a
hungry,
hungry wolf
that would maul me to pieces.

Let the Light In
I dream to drink the sky,
it would taste so sweet,
a sea of blue and stars
and everything in between.
If we are all
just droplets,
