Speak

Speak

Today felt the same as yesterday.
Nothing changed
But there was a silence
That echoed in the voices
I heard.

Today felt as if nothing changed.
I got up, brushed my teeth,
Made my bed,
But I didn't think of the change
That happened last night.

But how does the world keep spinning,
How does the future become the past
When I'm not sure of my own future?
How is nobody else in my life showing emotion?
Why are we all silent
When this is when we need to speak most?
