Wake up humans! Mother Earth, who sustains us, is in grave danger. In poetry or prose, make your plea for the planet. Change minds, inspire action! [Photo by Nils Rasmusson on Unsplash]

December 21,
The rebirth of the winter,
The certainty that when you wake up
Nothing has changed except for
The season.
And maybe,
Some snow has found your doorstep.
Except,

it’s time to remember it.
We aren’t the only ones
inhabiting this planet.

letting her children hurt themselves and their brothers
letting them kill each other for entertainment, for "food"
Dear Citizens of the World, there are so many issues, every direction you look, every person you talk to, they have their issue, animal abuse or cancer or fair treatment of farm workers.
What a shame-
that our world shows us such kindness,
and we turn around and stab her in the back.
We don't deserve her.
Traitors: that's what we are,
to overlook the life she brings
