aw well i hope you still have a fun holiday season this year :D
yeah i know like four or five people on here are jewish including myself lol i guess we're just really excellent poets probably all that generational trauma ðŸ˜
aw that's so nice! i used to celebrate both christmas and hanukkah because some of my mom's family is catholic but now we always travel for the holidays so we don't really celebrate either :/ but it's definitely nice to go to my town's tree lighting/get presents for my friends!
and hahah that's so funny! i know one of my friends on this site is jewish, too :)
Kind of generic, but Frozen was one of the many themes of my childhood - I had a small obsession over it, but not to the Halloween costume level. Also Olaf Presents and a couple of other Pixar shorts, including For the Birds and the short with the guy who gets abducted by aliens (I forgot what it was called).
When I edit my books, I just read over them and often times hand them over to my friends for additional proofreading. I find that having people I know read it and give me their feedback is most helpful.
We're not as strict about phones in Vermont - the administration doesn't want kids to bring in their phones (or at least keep them in their backpacks), computer mice are fine, electronic watches and AirPods are treated in the same manner as phones, and we don't really have smart glasses here. The teachers don't necessarily notice the watches - if they do, they ask you to put it in your backpack or they take it away, it depends on the teacher and the student.
At my school in Utah, there was a lot of leniency at the beginning of the school year, with teachers being able to give permission for students to use phones during class, but after first term they really started cracking down on phone use. Some teachers still don’t care if you have it out in class, and you are allowed to have them during lunch, but if you’re caught in the hallway with a phone during class time, you’re in big trouble.
that's so funny omg all my friends love to take me into their christmas traditions and i get them christmas presents every year obviously, this one was an advent calendar so it felt extra silly :p
also is it just me or is like everyone on this site jewish, every time i post a new piece for the jewish holiday chapbook project i'm doing i get so many comments!
