A Frigid Embrace

A Frigid Embrace

With an icy heart,

I watch her play her part,

Casting a spell on the land.

To many, she takes everything grand.

With the dark blanket of clouds above,

Many hate what I’ve grown to love.

She dances with the wind in eerie silence.

Bearing no mind to her defiance,

Many scoff, wishing her away.

Though I wish for her to stay,

As her chilliness brings a warm comfort,

The feeling of home in her frigid embrace.
